Overview
It’s easy to get wild at Lawrence Nature Park. This 100-acre reserve includes about 3 miles of looping, natural surface trails. The environment includes woodlands, grasslands, rock outcroppings and part of the watershed of Baldwin Creek. This rolling area includes a few steep hills. Although the sound of freeways can still be heard, a few steps into the area leads hikers into an immediate sense of remoteness. If you’re patient, wildlife can be observed in this secluded refuge.

  • Conditions This is a gently sloping, natural surface trail. Although it’s well-maintained, you will walk over some roots and rocky areas. Some of the lesser-traveled loops can experience overgrowth in summer. The trail is well marked and easy to follow.

  • Kid friendly? This is a non-strenuous walk for children who enjoy nature and can carry their own weight.
