This Sierra Club-sponsored walk begins at the Audubon Library, then leaves for its destination.
Meet at the Burroughs Audubon Library (7300 NW Park Rd, Blue Springs MO 64015), for an introduction to winter bird watching. Binoculars will be provided for up to 18 people, but bring your own if you have them. Wear long pants, good trail shoes, and clothing appropriate for the weather forecast. Participants will take their own vehicles to the nearby Lake Vista Trailhead. The trail is made of crushed rock and has some moderate inclines.
